Summit Bolsters Work of Charitable Nonprofit Agencies in Southeast Texas

​Some 200 representatives from charitable nonprofit agencies were on hand for the Southeast Texas Nonprofit Summit 2018​, planned and hosted by the Southeast Texas Nonprofit Development Center. Entergy Texas was the title sponsor for the event, which was held at the John Gray Library on the Lamar University campus in January.

Director of Corporate Social Responsibility Patty Riddlebarger made a well-received presentation on volunteerism in a break-out session, while Entergy Texas Customer Service Specialist II Debi Derrick served on a panel representing local funders, also in a break-out session.

Entergy representatives also participated in a reception the night before the event attended by Texas’ First Lady Cecelia Abbott, wife of Gov. Greg Abbott.
